Andrew Daines

Houtt Cabin Co. was founded by Andrew Daines. Having studied design to degree level, Andrew applied his training to a professional career in garden construction at our sister company, Spruce & Bloom. Here for the last 15 years, private and commercial commissions have been undertaken across London and the South East.

Recognising a growing need for small-scale outdoor buildings, Andrew has since developed the concept of Houtt Cabin Co. Through such spaces, his love of wood and nature has been nurtured and developed in to structures from treehouses, play spaces and more recently rolling cabins, examples of which can be seen on the following pages.

We use only the finest materials with a traceable provenance, so you can rest assured that any Houtt product that you buy, will not only last for years to come but will limit it’s environmental impact to the absolute minimum.
